PROFESIONALISME GURU TAHFIZ DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI MENGHAFAL AL-QUR’AN SISWA SMP CITA MULIA PAMULANG, TANGERANG SELATAN

Abstract


This study aims to find out and analyze how the professionalism of tahfiz teachers at Cita Mulia Pamulang Junior High School, and analyze the motivation to memorize the Qur'an for students of Cita Mulia Pamulang Junior High School.  The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study show that: (1) Tahfiz teachers at Cita Mulia Junior High School are qualified as a professional teacher, namely having pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence and professional competence, although there are some competencies that have not been perfectly met. (2) The motivation for Memorizing the Qur'an of cita mulia junior high school students is very strong, both the motivation that comes from within the student himself and the motivation that arises due to impulses from outside himself. (3) The motivation for memorizing the Qur'an of cita mulia junior high school students has increased, one of which is due to the professionalism of the tahfiz teacher of Cita Mulia Junior High School in guiding students to memorize the Qur'an. Meanwhile, the shortcomings of the tahfiz teacher at Cita Mulia Junior High School are that the pedagogical competence of the tahfiz teacher does not make the design of the learning program so that the learning process does not run perfectly, and there are still some teachers who often come to school late. The conclusion of this thesis shows that the professionalism of tahfiz teachers at Cita Mulia Junior High School is one of the important factors in increasing the motivation to memorize the Qur'an at Cita Mulia Junior High School. The tahfiz teacher at Cita Mulia Junior High School has met several requirements as a professional teacher although not perfectly because there are still some competencies that have not been fulfilled as a whole
