KEBHINEKAAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF AL-QUR’AN DAN IMPLEMENTASINYA DALAM KEHIDUPAN BERMASYARAKAT (Di Kelurahan Sukajadi, Kecamatan Karawaci, Kota Tangerang, Provinsi Banten)

Abstract


Diversity in the perspective of the Koran is found in the form of diversity in religion (din), ethnicity and nation (syu'ub and qabâíl), as well as skin color (alwân) and language (alsîn). This diversity is a sunnatullah that must be understood by humans, so that from this diversity humans know each other (taáruf), cooperate (musyarakah), democracy (deliberation) and establish harmonious relationships with fellow humans (ukhuwah basyariyah). This form of harmonization of diversity can form national brotherhood (ukhuwah wataniyah). In implementing the concept of diversity in the perspective of the Koran on community life in Sukajadi Village, Karawaci District, Tangerang Municipality, Banten Province, it was found that this concept had a positive impact in efforts to harmonize relations between residents, after previously community interactions were ethnically dichotomous and social disparities and inharmonizing relationships between people. Another finding in this dissertation is that there is a culture of syncritism and primordialism. In dealing with this problem, the author makes a general discussion effort to the public that the culture of syncretism and primordialism is incompatible with the identity of the Indonesian nation, which has one God and spirit of unity. From the results of this discussion, an agreement between communities emerged, namely that every problem that arose in the community was resolved by deliberation to reach a consensus. This article has the same opinion with Abdurrahman Wahid (2003) who gave the Chinese community broadness to practice their beliefs freely. Quraish  Shihab (2002), Syayyid Qutub, M. Darwis Hude (2015). Hamka Hak (1983) and Fathullah Gulen, who say that humans cannot live alone, but must work together, respect each other, especially in terms of differences in beliefs, ethnicity, culture and diversity in terms of life. On the other hand, this article has a difference of opinion with Rokmat S Labib (2010) who refuses to understand democracy because according to him it contradicts Islamic shariát
