ORKESTRASI DAN PENGENDALIAN MUTU SEKOLAH ISLAM

Abstract


School-Based Management (SBM) has become an important approach in efforts to improve the quality of education in various countries. This paper presents the steps required in implementing SBM. First, identify the school's needs and vision as the starting point for planning. Second, the formation of a school management team consisting of teachers, staff and local communities to strengthen participation and shared ownership. Third, developing a school work plan which includes long and short term goals, strategies and resource allocation. Fourth, implementation of educational programs in accordance with student needs and characteristics. Fifth, regular evaluation of the achievement of objectives and the impact of the program on students and the school environment. Through these steps, it is hoped that SBM can become an effective tool in improving the quality of education by actively involving all stakeholders in decision making and implementing policies at the school level.
